Muir Woods is located in Cary off of Cary Parkway (across from Arlington Ridge). It’s not one of the newer neighborhoods of Cary, having large, mature trees and shady, wooded lots with single family homes. There are winding, hilly roads - I wouldn’t call it a cookie-cutter neighborhood, but the homes are similar in style – traditional for the most part, with a spattering of colonial and cape cods. Muir Woods is not far from MacArthur Park, Preston areas, Avalon and other more established Cary neighborhoods.
